Frequently Asked Questions

Can I now fly over people if my drone is equipped with the SafeAir system?

No matter how safe your aircraft is, we never advise users to fly over people, but if regulation permits flying over people, SafeAir greatly reduces the risk involved.

Does the system include a remote triggering device for manual parachute activation?

Yes, a manual deployment remote control/receiver are included with the parachute system.

How should I store my SafeAir when not using it?

In a dark and dry place. Ideal storage temperature for longest shelf life is 10-27 degrees Celsius. Operating Temperatures -25 Celsius up to 55 Celsius. Notice: do not store in a closed car in high temperatures.

During parachute deployment, how do you stop the rotors?

ParaZero’s patented SmartAir system uses a Flight Termination System (FTS) that cuts power to the drone’s rotors.

Is there any indication that the system is ready to go before takeoff?

The SafeAir M200 Pro has a built-in self-check mechanism that alerts the user in case of malfunction prior to take-off.

How difficult is installation?

The SafeAir M200 Pro is designed to be easily integrated, with an approximate 10-15 minute setup time

Does the parachute system require power?

The SafeAir M200 Pro has an independent 5 hour rechargeable lithium ion battery.

Can the SafeAir M-200 Pro be repacked after deployment?

Yes, the SafeAir M200 Pro can be repacked by the operator.

Will a SafeAir system deployment result in zero damage upon ground impact?

The SafeAir recovery system is designed to greatly diminish the impact energy of your aircraft, significantly reducing the damage.   Over the course of many aerial deployment tests, the most common forms of damage upon ground impact were chipped/broken propellers and scratched landing gear.  However, the orientation of the falling craft does influence the results.

How long are ParaZero products under warranty? What is covered?
